Old projects - Phone sock

So this one is fairly straight forward as knitting projects go. I have knitted a fair few socks but I wanted to test out the sock wool they were selling in Tiger back in 2014 it was a pound a ball and I didn't have time to knit a whole sock so I made this cute phone sock. It was pretty straight forward, 60 stitches I think and 5 rows of rib. also I made a top and played around until I worked out how to close it.

Old projects: Buttons

I have worked on and off in retail. In 2013-2014 I worked for the danish company Tiger up in the west of England. I loved working for them and I often got inspired to make with some of the things that would come into the shop. one day these buttons came in and well they got made into all sorts of fun things. Including a pair of earrings and added to a couple of hair ties. They were a quick glue make and I bought everything I used to make them at the shop.

Old projects : Les Mis keyrings

So this was a knitting project I did when I was in upper sixth. Our school put on Les miserables which I was cast as madam thernardier. I wanted to give my fellow cast members something interesting to remember the show by so I decided to knit in miniature the cast in their garb and put them on keyrings. I based the pattern on an old Jean greenhow snowman one from her christmas book playing and adding in the pieces until they looked right. I made myself two in my two different costumes. I still have them somewhere....

 In our cast the guy playing Jean val Jean was a redhead so this is Jean val jean and big cosette.

 Big Eponine, Marius ( he was a blonde) and big cosette.

 Enjourlas, Gaveroche and my friend Tom was another student ( So I made him one)

Javert - complete with coctail stick cane.
