Me made May 17

so I haven't posted in a while this is because i have been ill and busy and I just haven't had a moment  but I am hoping this challenge might help me to focus on blogging here again.

Me Made may is a challenge which we ( in the sewing community) set ourselves to help us wear more of what we have made. It is supposed to be challenging  and the gauntlet is laid down by Zoe of https://sozowhatdoyouknow.blogspot.co.uk/ so here is my pledge

I, Allie of https://sofromtheheart.blogspot.co.uk sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May '17. I endeavour to wear at least one of my handmade pieces in each outfit I wear ( aside from the times I wear a uniform and do sports) during May 2017. I also endeavour to make at least one set of 'bottoms' during May as I have only made one skirt thus far.
Thank you for hosting this. blooming scary but we will see what happens!

We will see what comes of it. I plan to post about my week every Monday.

Today I wore this piece  it was made from a McCall pattern no 6886 and the ribbon is in the back so I know which way on to put the dress. I made it at some point this year possibly early march. It is made from beautiful ponte roma Jersey I bought from Franklin's of Salisbury  it was around £7-8 a metre and I made this and another top out of 4 metres when we were up visiting my Auntie, its beautiful and a dream to sew. This was my second make in stretch fabric and I love it!  I teamed it with a navy cardigan and leggings with a scarf. The occasion was a pub dinner with some friends.
